by : Fatima P. Fajardo

The Schools Division of Pasay, through the School Governance and Operations Division–School Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (SMM&E), spearheaded the Division Knowledge Management (KM) Handholding Session with Private School Principals and Administrators on August 14, 2026, at the SDO Pasay Conference Hall.

With the theme “Strategic Alignment: Synchronizing Private School Operations with Division Knowledge Management”, the engagement is a periodic engagement with Private School Administrators, ensuring compliance with the mandates of various issuances. Moreover, this is in line with the measures to reinforce quality assurance, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement among private schools offering basic education.

Embracing the ONE SGOD spirit, the SGOD Team, led by Dr. Maripaz T. Mendoza, Chief Education Supervisor–SGOD, delivered key presentations on varying areas covering private school operations. Dr. Lydia L. Martin, OIC–Chief Education Supervisor–Quality Assurance Division of DepEd NCR, shared her expertise on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum implementation for the private schools.

Completing the pool of discussants include Mr. Noel P. Miranda, Senior Education Program Specialist–HRD; Dr. Maria Jacqueline D. Bernardino, Senior Education Program Specialist–P&R; Mr. Sylwyn S. Tenorio, Senior Education Program Specialist–SM&N; Mr. Bayani H. Litusquen, Project Development Officer II–DRRM, and Ms. Fatima P. Fajardo, Senior Education Program Specialist–SMM&E.

By aligning strategic operations and fostering a culture of knowledge management, SDO-Pasay ensures that all basic education institutions remain compliant, resilient, and responsive to the evolving needs of learners. Moving forward, this unified approach under the ONE SGOD spirit paves the way for stronger institutional partnerships and elevated standardizations across the division.
